Maintenance
Updates that need a restart happen in a weekly window, announced three days ahead.
wabi keeps its servers updated. Scheduled restarts happen in a standing weekly window: Tuesdays, 18:00–19:00 UTC, which is Wednesdays 03:00–04:00 KST. The window is used only in weeks when such an update is pending. In other weeks, nothing happens.
During a window
| Part | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your services | web services, workers, databases and static sites restart once, and each is back within minutes |
| Your data | databases and volumes keep their data |
| Dashboard and API | pause for a few minutes; running services carry on |
An app that reconnects to its database after a restart needs nothing from you.
Notices
- At least 3 days before a window that will be used, the dashboard shows a banner and wabi emails every verified address.
- During the window, the banner says it is in progress.
- At the end of the window, the banner clears.
To get the email, add an email address in your settings and verify it.
